The Pekoe Tea offered by us here is a fine grade of Ceylon Tea, made from young tender tea leaves and buds. The leaves of this grade are shorter, curly, and not very wiry. As the leaves have been twisted and rolled during the traditional black tea manufacturing process, this grade takes on the appearance of black peppercorns. Once brewed, this tea exudes a rich aromatic forest-like (woodish) scent, and the liquor generally boasts a light golden reddish colour with a delicate, flowery, and flavoursome taste.

Ceylon Supreme

Ceylon tea belongs to my favorite teas, because of the deversity of the flavor and taste. The Ceylon Supreme is very light flavored and not too malty and therefore perfect for a good tea in the afternoon.

Pleasant everyday tea

I hadn't tried this Ceylon black tea before, and have been pleasantly surprised at the depth of flavour. I actually enjoy this more when it isn't hot. Looking forward to trying other flavours now.
